If you’re looking for a psychologist in Mackay with a focus on understanding patterns beneath emotional distress, you’re in the right place. Sova Psychology is a boutique private practice, offering support for adults and adolescents via face-to-face or telehealth appointments. Therapy is seen not only as a service for those with a diagnosis, but as a way for anyone to gain insight, shift patterns, and uncover the deeper story beneath their emotions.

To make therapy more accessible for busy people, sessions are also regularly available on Saturdays.

  • Private Therapy Sessions — self-referred, no GP referral required.

  • Medicare Rebates — available with a GP Mental Health Care Plan (up to 10 sessions per calendar year).

  • Adolescent Therapy (12+) — supporting young people with emotional, social, and self-esteem challenges.
